Bite Me: A Love Story

As is usually the case, this series has lost some of its charm by this third book, Bite Me: A Love Story. This one just wasn’t as… well, as anything as the first two. It’s not as funny. I mean, there are funny moments, but the humor isn’t even close to reaching the first two. It’s not as exciting. It’s not as well thought-out. It’s just not as good.

This one feels more like Chris had a moment where he realized he had to write another in the series since he just left the story hanging at the end of You Suck and then realized he didn’t have anything to really say about it any more.

I do HIGHLY recommend Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck if you like really, really funny and weird books that are completely irreverent.
