If you are a Facebook member, please join the Facebook Nurse-in, happening today, to protest the censorship of breastfeeding moms.

The message they are sending to mother’s who post breastfeeding pics:

You uploaded a profile picture that violates our Terms of Use, and this picture has been removed. Facebook does not allow photos that attack an individual or group, or that contain nudity, drug use, violence, or other violations of the Terms of Use. So they are equating breastfeeding (where you don’t actually see nipples) to bigotry, drug use, violence, and teeny boppers prancing around nude….. That just doesn’t make any sense! Especially if the worry is about children. Since when can’t children see other children eating lunch?

Make your profile pic a picture of natural feeding and tell FB that there is nothing shameful about it!
